Hood River County Campgrounds:

TUCKER PARK: A Hood River County park approximately 5 miles south of Hood River on HWY 281, 2440 Dee Hwy. 90 Sites (20 RV only, 70 RV/Tent) 14 sites with water, $20/night. 80 Tent sites $20/night and 14 Riverside tent sites $30/night. TOLL BRIDGE PARK: A Hood River County Park located 17 miles south of Hood River off Rte 35S on the Hood River, 7360 Toll Bridge Rd. 87 sites. 20 full-service sites $30, 45 sites with water and electricity $25, 21 tent sites $20, and 2 group sites Sm $60, Lg $80. Campgrounds South of Hood River-HR Ranger District Camping

NOTTINGHAM CAMPGROUND: USFS Campground in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Right along HWY 35. Tent sights only. $21 per night, No hookups, showers, drinking water, or boating. SHERWOOD CAMPGROUND: Travel south on Highway 35, approximately 3-4 miles past the forest boundary, to the campground. 3 RV sites/11 Tent sites. $21 per night and $8/ extra vehicle. FROG LAKE CAMPGROUND: 1 Hour south of HR, 44 miles. Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-444-6777 or on-line at www.rectreation.gov, 30 sites, $21/night for single, $8 extra car, no electric, potable water, no vehicles over 22ft max.

CLEAR LAKE CAMPGROUND: 54.5 miles south 1hr. Reservations can be made calling 1-877-444-6777 or on-line at www.rectreation.gov  28 sites, $20.56-$22.43 peak season/night for single, $8 extra car, no electric, potable water, no vehicles over 32ft maximum.

LOST LAKE RESORT: Located on the north side of Mt Hood. USFS public campground. 124 Tent & RV sites. Tent sites $27 standard/$30 lake front. RV sites $32. Cabins & Yurts $70-$80 Lodge Rooms $72-$180. Vehicle day park permit $8. Fireplaces, water, restroom, general store, showers, group camping, handicap facilities. Camping West of Hood River

SUNSET MOTEL & RV PARK: Located at the West end of Hood River. No Tents.   All rooms have queen-sized beds, microwaves, refrigerators and coffee pots with complimentary coffee. No smoking. We allow pets in two rooms. Phone (541) 386-6322

VIENTO STATE PARK: Oregon State Park. Reservation NW 1-800-452-5687 or on-line at www.oregonstateparks.org exit 56 off the 84.70 Sites (55 electrical sites, 15 tent sites, all w/water) $17/night tent, $7/night extra vehicle, $22/night RV. RV’s up to 30’. No boat launch. Close to hiking trails. Picnic tables, fireplaces, and showers.

KOA CASCADE LOCKS: Located at Exit 44, Cascade Locks, approximately 20 miles west of Hood River. Phone 541-374-8668; Reservation: 1-800-562-8698. 33 tent sites, Full hook up RV sites with 110-foot pull thru, 9 Camping cabins. 50 amp, water & electric available. Showers, laundry, game room and dump station. Tent site $30.12, RV sites range $38.89-$41.89, Cabins $66.89-129.89.

WYETH CAMPGROUND: USFS campground approximately 11 miles west of Hood River, off 84W exit 51. 14 widely spaced campsites $20 per night. 3 group sites $30 per night. Flush toilets, hot and cold running water (no showers). Trailers up to 30’, no hook-ups. No reservations.   Phone (541)308-1700.

EAGLE CREEK CAMPGROUND: Located 26 miles west of Hood River. Take exit 40 off of 84 W, get back on 84 E and take exit 41, follow signs for campground. Camping available, trail not open. For info call 541-308-1700. For reservations go to recreation.org or call 877-444-6777.

Camping East of Hood River:

MEMALOOSE STATE PARK: Oregon State Park, 15 miles East of Hood River. Take 84 E, exit 76 take a left and merge onto 84 W, take the exit and follow signs to campground. Located on the Columbia River with access. 110 Sites 40 sites with full hook-ups, RV’s to 60’ and 65 tent spaces. Tent sites are $19 ($8 extra vehicle), full hook up $28. Showers, RV dump station. DESCHUTES RIVER STATE PARK: 35 miles East of Hood River. Off I-84 on OR-206 /Biggs-Rufus Hwy. 30 electrical sites, 25 Primitive, 4 group RV camps. Max length 50 feet. Reservations call 1-800-452-5687 Online at oregonstateparks.org. Open year round.

Camping in Washington (50 miles out) from Hood River

TIMBERLAKE CAMPGROUND & RV PARK: West of Hood River, Only 50 miles from Portland or Vancouver. 43 RV sites. Full hook up $ 50/day. 23 Tent sites $24 per night/$192 week or $32 daily. WIND MOUNTAIN RV-PARK: 15 miles West of Hood River, 5 miles East of Stevenson between milepost 50 & 51 off Hwy 14th. 24 hook ups with room for a boat, full $40 ($5 extra vehicle) Tent sites and electric site only $25. Call for Reservations 9 am -7 pm 509-607-3409. *Open year around

MARYHILL STATE PARK: 44 Miles east of Hood River. Along the Columbia River in Klickitat county. 20 tent sites, $12-$40 peak season. 50 RV sites, $35-$45. Max length 60 feet. 4 restrooms, 10 showers. PEACH BEACH PARK: 46 miles east of Hood River. Along the Columbia River, East of Maryhill state park, off Maryhill Hwy. 82 sites: 11 tent sites, $30, 71 full/partial hook ups.$35-40 Restrooms, showers, onsite dump station. No campfires allowed. Own grassy beach and private swimming cove. Reservations taken on Tuesdays 10 am-2 pm, Call 509-773-4927. Otherwise first come, first serve basis. Open year around – in Winter only 33 sites open.
