Transformative Afro-Latin Social Dance with Bonnie Bright
Come Experience this whole new approach to Afro-Latin social dance. Teacher Bonnie Bright combines teaching dance with the plant teachings. She uses these modalities to explore and improve our kinesthetic wellness. Students will explore concepts like Lead and Follow, Breath, Balance, Styling, Speed, Flow and Tone through sensory-stimulating nature and movement activities. Goals of the class are to recognize the presence of these concepts in nature, map these concepts into our bodies through music and dance, and enjoy dancing freely and with intention!
